Todd Caliva has been named CEO of Clear Lake Regional Medical Center.
Effective Oct. 24, Caliva assumes responsibility of the HCA-affiliated 531-bed, full-service, acute-care hospital.
Caliva, who has been with HCA in Houston since 1997, is regarded in the industry as a consummate health care professional and has more than 24 years of experience, including a decade at the multi-facility level, HCA Gulf Coast Division President Troy Villarreal said.
Since 2006, Caliva has served as CEO of HCA-affiliated West Houston Medical Center. Before that, Caliva served as CEO of East Houston Regional Medical Center, also part of HCA. And before that, he served as the chief operating officer of HCA-affiliated The Woman’s Hospital of Texas and administrator of Sugar Land Medical Center Surgical and Diagnostic Center.

Clear Lake Regional Medical Center is an accredited Chest Pain Center, a Joint Commission Certified Primary Stroke Center, a Level II Trauma Capable facility and a cancer program designated by the Commission on Cancer.
Caliva earned a master’s degree in business administration and a Bachelor of Science in marketing from the University of Houston.
